What the fee table does not show

The gap is large because the two platforms charge different sides of the sale. Depop moved its fee to the buyer, who pays a marketplace fee at checkout; Poshmark charges the seller and includes the payment fee.

Shipping is handled differently. On Poshmark the buyer pays a flat rate and you receive a prepaid label, so shipping never touches your numbers. On Depop you set the shipping price and buy the label yourself, and the payment fee applies to the shipping you charge.

A buyer comparing the same item on both apps sees a marketplace fee on Depop, so the price that sells may be lower there than on Poshmark.
