Upcoming
eBay's currency conversion charge for US sellers rises from 3% to 3.25%. The calculator switches rates on that date.

New calculator: referral fees for 26 categories, the $0.99 per-item fee on the Individual plan and the $1.80 closing fee on media. FBA fulfilment fees are entered by hand.

Boosting fee corrected to 8% for Australian sellers (12% applies in the UK and US only). Selling has been free on AUD sales since 22 July 2026.

Boosting fee confirmed at 12% for UK and US sellers; it is charged on the item price, plus shipping when you arrange your own, if the buyer purchases within 28 days of interacting with the boosted listing.

New: United Kingdom rates. Private sellers pay no final value fee on UK sales. Business sellers pay a category rate plus £0.30 or £0.40 per order and a 0.35% regulatory operating fee, all before VAT.

Every rate re-checked against eBay's fee page. The 2.35% rate above $7,500 is confirmed for books, trading cards and guitars. Added bullion (13.6% up to $7,500, 7% above).

Rates confirmed on Mercari's own help center: 10% of the item price plus buyer-paid shipping, no separate payment fee, Instant Pay $3. The third-party flag is removed.

Re-checked against PayPal's US fee page (updated October 1, 2026). Added donations (2.89% + $0.49), the charity rate (1.99% + $0.49) and micropayments (4.99% + $0.09), which are listed there after all; the older calculator's 2.2% and 5% + $0.05 figures were wrong.

Removed the 10% selling fee, which Depop no longer charges sellers in the UK, US and Australia (buyers pay a marketplace fee instead). Payment processing is now set per country, replacing a single 3.4% + £0.30 rate. Added the boosted listing fee as an option.

Final value fee for most categories corrected from 13.25% to 13.6% up to $7,500 (2.35% above). Added category rates for books, trading cards, guitars, athletic shoes, jewelry, watch parts and handbags, the $0.30/$0.40 per-order fee, the 1.65% international fee and the $0.35 insertion fee. Removed a separate payment-processing line and a $750 fee cap that eBay does not charge.

Offsite Ads now defaults to 15%; the 12% rate applies only to shops with $10,000 or more in sales in the past 365 days. Fee is capped at $100 per order.

Rebuilt around PayPal's current payment types: Checkout and Venmo 3.49% + $0.49, cards 2.99% + $0.49, goods and services 2.99%, Pay Later 4.99% + $0.49. International payments now add 1.50% to the domestic rate instead of a flat 4.4% + $0.49. Charity and micropayment rates were removed because they are not on PayPal's current US fee page.
