Vinted has the lowest fees at every price from $1 to $500.
How each platform charges
- Vinted
- No fee for sellers. The buyer pays a Vinted fee of usually 5% + $0.70 on top of the price, plus shipping.
- Depop
- No selling fee for sellers. Payment processing of 3.3% + $0.45 on item plus shipping; boosted listings pay 12% more.
- Mercari
- 10% of the item price plus buyer-paid shipping, payment processing included.
- eBay
- 13.6% of the sale total (item, shipping and sales tax) in most categories, plus $0.40 per order ($0.30 on orders of $10 or less). Payment processing is included.
- Etsy
- $0.20 listing fee, 6.5% transaction fee on item plus shipping, and 3% + $0.25 payment processing. Orders that come from an Offsite Ad pay 15% more.
- Poshmark
- $2.95 flat on sales under $15, 20% on sales of $15 or more. Payment processing and the buyer-paid shipping label are included.

What the fee table does not show
Lowest fees and highest profit are not the same thing. A platform that takes more but sells the item faster, or at a higher price, can leave you with more. Use the fee ranking to choose between platforms where the item would sell for about the same.
Etsy only allows clothing that is handmade by you or vintage (at least 20 years old). For ordinary second-hand clothing the real choice is between Vinted, Depop, Mercari, eBay and Poshmark.
Vinted's and Depop's low seller fees come with a fee for the buyer, and Poshmark's high one includes a shipping label. Compare what the buyer pays in total, not only what you keep.
